Role as Travel Agent

Happy Traveler Dream Vacations acts as an intermediary between you and travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rental companies, cruise lines, tour operators, and other service providers). We arrange travel services on your behalf but do not own, operate, or control the transportation, accommodation, or other services provided by third-party suppliers.

Bookings and Reservations

When you make a booking through our Services:

  • You authorize us to act on your behalf in making reservations with travel suppliers
  • You agree to provide accurate information for all travelers
  • You understand that bookings are subject to availability and supplier confirmation
  • You acknowledge that pricing, availability, and terms may change until booking is confirmed
  • You agree to receive booking confirmations, itineraries, and travel documents electronically

Pricing and Payments

All prices displayed on our Website are in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed.

Payment Terms:

  • Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking
  • We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified
  • Additional fees may apply for certain payment methods

Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

Cancellation Policies

Cancellation policies vary by supplier and service type. When you make a booking, you will be informed of the applicable cancellation policy. Generally:

  • Cancellations must be requested in writing to kelly@htdreamvacations.com
  • Cancellation fees and penalties are determined by the travel supplier’s policies
  • Some bookings may be non-refundable or subject to substantial penalties
  • Service fees charged by Happy Traveler Dream Vacations are typically non-refundable
  • Refund processing times vary by supplier and payment method

Changes and Modifications

If you wish to change your travel arrangements:

  • Changes are subject to availability and supplier approval
  • Change fees may apply in addition to any fare or rate differences
  • Some bookings may not be changeable
  • All change requests must be submitted in writing
  • We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate change requests but cannot guarantee success

Refunds

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the supplier’s policies and our payment processing procedures. Please allow 30-60 days for refunds to appear on your account. We are not responsible for delays in refund processing by suppliers or financial institutions.

Travel Documents and Requirements

Passports and Visas

You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid travel documents, including:

  • Passports with sufficient validity (typically 6 months beyond travel dates)
  • Visas and entry permits required for your destinations
  • Vaccination certificates and health documents
  • Any other documentation required by destinations or transit countries

We strongly recommend:

  • Checking entry requirements well in advance of travel
  • Ensuring all travelers’ names match their travel documents exactly
  • Consulting official government sources for the most current requirements
  • Allowing sufficient time for document processing

We are not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, detention, deportation, or any consequences resulting from inadequate or invalid travel documents.

Health and Safety

You are responsible for:

  • Consulting with healthcare providers regarding vaccinations and health precautions
  • Obtaining travel insurance that includes medical coverage
  • Reviewing travel advisories and warnings issued by government authorities
  • Taking reasonable precautions for your health and safety
  • Disclosing any medical conditions that may affect your travel

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, evacuation, baggage loss, and other potential risks.

Travel insurance may be offered through our Services, but you are free to purchase insurance independently. We are not responsible for your decision to purchase or decline travel insurance, nor for any claims or coverage disputes with insurance providers.
